Controlling Particle Size in Catalysis: 8 & 9 Nov 2012
Scope
Controlling particle size is not yet a mature research discipline in catalysis and the underlying phenomena have not significantly been explored in a systematic way. In this conference we want to address aspects of preparation, characterization and theoretical understanding. These include:
- active phase and support generation / modification
- characterization of particle size / shape / morphology
- mechanism of particle growth and size reduction
- theoretical (quantum chemical) studies and insights
- size-dependent catalytic properties
The targeted audience are scientists at the expert level. Graduate students in the final year of their PhD work may register as well. The maximum number of participants: 100
