University & Catalysis

Dutch catalysis research is focussed at universities and a number of industrial labs. Funding of university research on catalysis is provided by Dutch government funds and industry contributions. Four different sources for funding are

1. General university budgets from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences,

2. Funding from the Dutch Foundation for Chemical Research (CW/STW),

3. Industrial funding, and

4. Special funds from the Ministry of Economic Affairs: 'The Netherlands School of Catalysis'.

The Dutch Universities have set up a foundation called NIOK (the Netherlands Institute for Research in Catalysis), in which research is coordinated. The following universities take part in NIOK and/or NRSCC:

Detailled and up-to-date information about academic research in the field of catalysis can be found at the NIOK pages, at which you will aldo find links to professors and related research groups .
