The Dutch Zeolite Association (DZA) has been founded in 1994 as a Dutch-Belgian co-operation with the aim of enhancing the knowledge on and raising the interest in zeolites and related materials, such as ordered mesoporous materials and metal-organic frameworks. The DZA cooperates with the Federation of European Zeolite Associations (FEZA) and the International Zeolite Association (IZA) to achieve these goals.
The DZA:
- organises symposia (the DZA day, typically every two years) on recent advances in research on the synthesis, characterisation and applications of zeolites and related materials.
- organises summer schools on topics related to zeolites, ordered mesoporous materials and metal-organic frameworks.
- promotes the contact between different groups active in research in the fields of zeolites and related materials, not only through the DZA day and summer schools, but also by sharing information about seminars and PhD theses.
- represents the Netherlands and the Dutch-speaking cummunity of the Belgium (Flanders) in the FEZA.
Membership to the DZA is open to KNCV members and non-members. You can apply via our registration form.
