Shuxia Tao gebruikt geavanceerde computersimulaties om te voorspellen hoe materialen zich gedragen nog voordat zij gemaakt zijn, om zo het ontwerp van betere halfgeleiders te versnellen, zodat — in de toekomst — je telefoon direct door de zon kan worden opgeladen.
